New Jersey election law allows contributions with a limit of $2,600 per election from individuals and corporations, except those industries regulated by the State of New Jersey. PACS may contribute $8,200 per election. A partnership may contribute a maximum of $2,600 per partner per election. A letter allocating the contribution to the individual partner(s) must accompany the check. Special contribution restrictions apply to a professional business entity or a vendor doing business with or who anticipates doing business with the Town of Morristown. See Ordinance O-25-08 for details or contact the Morristown Clerk for more information. Contributions are not tax deductible for income tax purposes.
